This was my second time seeing the band in B'ham a few years prior, and once again, they did not disappoint. The attention to detail in producing the music really came across, especially for someone like me who is somewhat of a musician myself. The amount of work put into this show by these musicians is really impressive. You wouldn't have to be a hard core Floyd fan to have enjoyed this production; it was that good. They have tried to give you as much of the original form of the song as possible. This particular show reached further back, bringing some of the older stuff to light, which was refreshing. They could have easily just played the songs most people know and love and called it a day, but they respected the body of work, and I appreciated that. It is really amazing at how much quality work Pink Floyd has put out over the years without worrying about what the rest of the music industry was doing, but just did their own thing. David Gilmour, one of my favorite vocalists, has been much underappreciated in my opinion. When you see Buzz Kull reproduce it, you really get a feel for that and see how much push they have to put into their vocals to give you an honest representation. The backup singers were incredible as well, speaking of vocals. I always put music first and the show aspect second. The light show and the overall visuals were incredible as well. Advertised as the best Pink Floyd cover band, and I believe it. No one is going to come close to these guys. They have obviously invested heavily in the stage show because it flows perfectly with the music. If you want to see an amazing, in-depth rock and roll show that represents one of the best bands to have ever played a note, you are not going to find a better one than Buzz Kull. Even if you are not a major Pink Floyd fan, I highly recommend you see them. This type of show is not going to be put on by any current touring artist today. They simply will not invest in this type of overall entertainment. Do yourself a favor and see them while you can because you will not be disappointed.
